BIRMINGHAM — A Vincent man was convicted for being a felon inpossession of ammunition.
Hartley is prohibited from possessing ammunition because of multiple prior felony convictions and pleaded guilty to the charge in January.
The plea agreement states deputies with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office went to Hartley’s residence in Vincent on October 13, 2020, to arrest him on two active Shelby County arrest warrants. Deputies located six rounds of ammunition in Hartley’s pocket.
