LAUDERDALE COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Killen man on Wednesday, April 20, at approximately 11:15 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Jeremy E. Britnell, 44, was fatally injured when the 2009 Ford Fusion he was driving left the roadway, overturned, and struck a tree.
Britnell, who was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash, was ejected and pronounced deceased at the scene. The crash occurred on Alabama 64 near the 2-mile marker, approximately 15 miles north of Killen, in Lauderdale County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
