TALLADEGA — CrimeStoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest or identity of any person involved in the murder of 14-year-old Jeremiah Curry on April 2, 2022, at approximately 10:47 p.m.
According to the Central Alabama Crimestoppers, the Talladega Police Department is investigating a murder and seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s).
Officers responded to a call of shots being fired in the Knoxville Homes area of Talladega. When officers arrived, they located a vehicle parked on Knox Street with Curry suffering from a gunshot wound inside.
Talladega Fire Medics arrived and pronounced Curry dead.
A separate crime scene was located near the intersection of Scott Street and Wallace Street. Investigators believe that there were witnesses in the area at the time of the shooting, and they are asking that they come forward.
