WALKER COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash claimed a Jasper man’s life on Saturday, April 30, at approximately 8:12 p.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Andreas W. Key, 52, was fatally injured when the 2020 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving left the roadway, struck an embankment, then overturned.
Key was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash, which occurred on Burrows Crossing Road near Drummond Road, approximately seven miles north of Jasper, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
