JEFFERSON & ST. CLAIR COUNTIES — Beginning at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 6, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the right lane of I-20 westbound for Paving Work between just east of the Brompton exit (Milepost 148) and the Leeds exit (Milepost 140).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 7 p.m. on Friday.
This same lane closure will be in place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.
Beginning at 5 a.m. on Friday, May 6, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the right lane of I-20 eastbound for Paving Work between the Leeds exit (Milepost 140) and just east of the Brompton exit (Milepost 148).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Friday.
This lane closure will also be in place from 5 a.m. through 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 7.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
