ALABASTER — Authorities have identified the suspect involved in an Alabaster pharmacy robbery that injured one person on Tuesday, May 10, around 6 p.m.
According to Carol Robinson at AL.com, Hakim Abella Lemma, 31, of Atlanta, was responsible for an armed robbery at Blair Pharmacy on Weatherly Club Drive in Alabaster.
Lemma was taken into custody an hour after the robbery by the Leeds Police Department on Interstate 20. He is being held with a bond set at $200,000 at the Shelby County Jail on a pharmacy robbery charge.
Robinson stated that a pharmacy robbery is a Class A felony. If convicted, Lemma faces a minimum of 25 years in prison.
