ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 2, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound to repair and improve the highway shoulder between Milepost 157 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Friday, June 3.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Thursday, June 2 through Friday, June 3.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area.
