BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) announced their Recruitment Open House event that will take place on Wednesday, June 8, at the Birmingham Police Department Academy (401 6th Ave S Birmingham, AL 35205) starting at 6:30 p.m.
Light refreshments will be served. In addition, candidates can talk one-on-one with BPD recruiters, training staff, and other officers regarding their experience at BPD.
Interested candidates should apply before the open house at https://www.pbjcal.org/jobsquest/findjobs.aspx, but BPD will have computers available to apply.
To amplify their efforts in recruiting, the BPD will be unveiling its new recruitment refresh.
“We are releasing our new recruitment video and showcasing our recruitment website that features a welcome from Chief Scott Thurmond and officer testimonials about why they decided to pick up the call of duty to become a Birmingham Police Officer,” Public Relations Manager Keaira Turner said.
