HOMEWOOD — A 30-year-old man was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Friday, June 3, at approximately 9:03 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Justin Clay Davidson, 30, of Sterrett, was the driver of a motor vehicle traveling on Independence Drive when his vehicle struck the rear of another vehicle stopped at a red light at the intersection of 28th Avenue South.
Davidson was transported to UAB Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Homewood Police Department is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck.
