BESSEMER — One person was seriously injured during a Bessemer apartment shooting on Monday, June 6, around 5:30 p.m.
According to Carol Robinson at AL.com, a man was shot multiple times in the torso while visiting someone at an apartment located in the 600 block of 35th Way North in Bessemer.
The victim was transported to UAB Hospital, where he is being treated for life-threatening injuries.
There have been no arrests made at this time.
