JEFFERSON COUNTY — Officials have identified a pedestrian who was struck and killed by a car shortly before 11 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s office reports that Charles Edward Snider Jr., 61, died after being struck during a walk on a street just north of Tarrant.
Snider “was a pedestrian walking east on Pawnee Village Road when he was struck by a sedan also traveling east on Pawnee Village Road,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates stated. “The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and notified authorities of the incident. No information about potential criminal charges for the unidentified driver has been released at this time.
