ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 9 a.m., Sunday, June 12, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 southbound for Guardrail work and Asphalt paving between Milepost 157 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, June 13.
These same lane closures will be in place from 9 a.m. to 6 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, through Friday, June 17.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, June 12, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for RCC shoulder operations and Concrete Grinding between Milepost 157 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, June 13.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, June 12, through Saturday, June 18.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
