BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) requests assistance from the public in identifying a robbery suspect.
According to the BPD, the robbery occurred on Tuesday, June 7, at the Metro PCS located at 74 6th Avenue South.
“The male was handed merchandise then left the store without paying for the merchandise,” Officer Truman Fitzgerald said. “A sales associate asked for the merchandise; the suspect then pointed a firearm at the sales associate.”
The suspect fled the scene in a white 4-Door Honda Civic.
There were no injuries reported.
