TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), along with presenting sponsor Trussville To Go, is gearing up for the third annual Trussville Restaurant Week, July 16-30. Other corporate sponsors include the Trussville Tribune and Parcels Too Business Center.
Begun in 2020 to celebrate and support local restaurants as they continued to serve while coping with COVID-19 restrictions, Trussville Restaurant Week gives food establishments an opportunity to showcase signature dishes and offer special deals and discounts.
The two-week-long celebration will again feature the popular Trussville Restaurant Bingo. Patrons who fill one or more Bingo rows by paying visits to restaurants that purchase spaces on the Bingo cards will be entered into drawings for prizes. Cards will be available at participating restaurants and the chamber office by July 15.
“Restaurants are a big part of our local economy and serve our community in a variety of ways,” TACC Executive Director June Mathews said. “So in addition to giving them a chance to strut their stuff, Trussville Restaurant Week is an opportunity for us to acknowledge the contributions they make and thank them for all they do.”
Restaurants interested in offering special Restaurant Week deals and discounts or in purchasing Bingo spaces should call the chamber office at (205) 655-7535. For general information, visit www.trussvillechamber.com or the Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce’s Facebook page.
The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce seeks to provide leadership and a coordinating of efforts that contribute to the economic vitality and quality of life of the Trussville-area community.
