ST. CLAIR COUNTY — Beginning at 5 a.m., Monday, July 18, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for Concrete Joint Sealing, between Milepost 157 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 3 p.m. on Monday, July 18.
These same lane closures will be in place from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday, July 18, through Saturday, July 23.
Beginning at 6 p.m.., Wednesday, July 20, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right lane closures on I-59 southbound for Asphalt paving between Milepost 157 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Thursday, July 21.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
