TRUSSVILLE — Norfolk Southern has announced they have a contractor conducting maintenance on a crossing in Trussville on Monday, August 1, beginning at 8:00 a.m.
According to the Trussville Fire and Rescue, the maintenance work will take place at the Mary Taylor Road crossing.
“The crossing will be completely closed during the maintenance, and all traffic will need to use an alternate route. Tentatively, the maintenance is scheduled to begin at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, August 1, and should be completed the same day. As we approach the scheduled maintenance and more details or changes are available, we will push that information out,” Trussville Fire and Rescue Facebook page states.
Trussville Fire and Rescue states that this maintenance will not block anyone in, but it will require taking an alternate route.
The story will be updated when more information becomes available.
