BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim of a homicide that occurred on Sunday, July 24.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Holli Jo Wilson, 38, of Birmingham, sustained blunt force injuries during a reported assault inside a residence.

Birmingham Police Department (BPD) officers responded to a home on the 3100 block of 30th Court North in the Collegeville neighborhood after a 911 that came in shortly before 5 a.m.
Birmingham Fire and Rescue Service pronounced Wilson dead at the scene.
The victim is Birmingham’s 76th homicide this year, including six justifiable homicide rulings which are not classified as criminal.
