BIRMINGHAM — A 14-year-old pedestrian killed early Sunday, July 24, has been identified by the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office.
Adams was struck at the intersection of Bessemer Road at Avenue R and declared dead 15 minutes later.
“The decedent was a pedestrian struck by one of two vehicles that were racing on Bessemer Road,” Yates stated. “The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.”
No suspects have been identified in the case.
