BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified a 26-year-old man killed inside a motel on Saturday, July 30, at approximately 8:52 p.m.
Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is being investigated as a homicide,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates said.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the circumstances surrounding the death.
Authorities ask if there is anyone who has information pertaining to the case, contact the BPD Homicide Unit at 205-254-1764 or Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
This is Birmingham’s 77th murder investigation of 2022, including six justifiable death investigations.
