JEFFERSON & ST. CLAIR COUNTIES — Beginning at 7 p.m., on Tuesday, August 2, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will close the inside lanes of I-20 eastbound for Inlet Cleanout Operations between Milepost 140 and Milepost 148.
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Wednesday, August 3.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Wednesday, August 3, through Saturday, August 6.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
