JEFFERSON COUNTY — Beginning at 6 p.m., Sunday, August 7, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 southbound for Asphalt repairs between Milepost 140 (near Exit 141; Trussville/Pinson) and Milepost 148 (near Exit 148 Liles Lane).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, August 8.
These same lane closures will be in place from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, August 7, through Friday, August 12.
Beginning at 7 p.m., Sunday, August 7, weather permitting, the Alabama Department of Transportation will have right or left lane closures on I-59 northbound for Asphalt repairs between Milepost 140 (near Exit 141; Trussville/Pinson) and Milepost 148 (near Exit 148 Liles Lane).
All travel lanes are expected to re-open at approximately 6 a.m. on Monday, August 8.
These same lane closures will be in place from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday, August 7, through Friday, August 12.
Motorists are requested to consider using alternate routes, adjust arrival/departure times, observe work zone speed limits and other work zone signs, and use extreme caution in this area. ALDOT thanks motorists for their patience during this Construction Operation to improve Alabama’s roadways.
