CENTER POINT — The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office has identified the victim killed in Center Point on Friday, August 5, at approximately 6:23 a.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Jordan Harley Maxwell, 29, of Birmingham, sustained a gunshot wound injury during a reported assault outside an apartment.

Maxwell was transported to the UAB Hospital in Birmingham, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
