BIRMINGHAM — The Jefferson County Coroner has released the identity of a Bessemer man killed in a single-vehicle accident on Monday, August 22.
Paul Antonio Williams was killed as a result of an accident that took place around 3 p.m. on the 2300 block of Morgan Road in Bessemer. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 3:38 p.m.
“The decedent was the driver of a Dodge Durango involved in a single vehicle wreck,” Chief Deputy Coroner Bill Yates stated in his report. “The decedent’s vehicle was traveling south on Morgan Road when for unknown reasons the vehicle left the roadway and struck multiple trees. The cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck are being investigated by the Bessemer Police Department.”
