ASHLAND — A two-vehicle crash at approximately 3:40 p.m. Monday, Aug. 29, has claimed the life of a Goodwater woman, according to a report from the Alabama State Troopers.
Jaclyn M. Fisher, 57, was fatally injured when the 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis she was driving collided head-on with a 2015 Toyota Sienna driven by Jarod S. Taylor, 52, of Alexander City.
Taylor was transported to UAB Hospital in Birmingham for medical treatment. Fisher was pronounced deceased at the scene, which occurred on Alabama 9 near the 178 mile marker, approximately five miles north of Ashland, in Clay County.
Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
