BIRMINGHAM — A 10-year-old was killed during a motorcycle mini-bike crash that occurred on Tuesday, September 6, at approximately 2:02 p.m.
According to the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office, Marquis Bell, of Hueytown, was the rider of a motorcycle mini-bike when struck by a motor vehicle on a public roadway in the 3500 block of Charles Street Dolomite in Birmingham.
Bell was transported to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The Birmingham Police Department is investigating the cause and circumstances surrounding the wreck.
