JEFFERSON COUNTY — The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a hit-and-run suspect vehicle.
According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to the 7000 block of Lock 17 Road to investigate a pedestrian who had been struck and killed by a vehicle around 2:15 p.m. on Thursday, September 22.
The suspect vehicle is thought to be a black Ford, F-150 that will have heavy front-end damage on the passenger side. Detectives are on the hit-and-run scene and will continue investigating the circumstances surrounding the event.
