The Trussville Tribune was on hand for the inaugural 2022 Alabama High School Girls Basketball Media Day hosted by Modernday Nation Foundation (MDF) Thursday, October 12. Area girls high school basketball coaches and players gathered at the YMCA of Greater Birmingham Youth Center in downtown Birmingham for the first-of-its-kind event.
Players and coaches from area schools Hewitt-Trussville, Center Point, and Shades Valley were on hand to answer questions about the upcoming season and celebrate the growth and potential of high school girls basketball in Alabama.
