SHELBY COUNTY — A single-vehicle crash claimed the life of a Weogufka woman on Saturday, Oct. 22, at approximately 3:30 a.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), Adeline N. Morris, 23, was fatally injured when the 1999 Jeep Wrangler she was driving left the roadway and overturned into a creek.
Morris was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash and was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The crash occurred on Alabama 25 near the 150-mile marker, approximately one mile north of Vincent, in Shelby County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the ALEA Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
