TRUSSVILLE — The Trussville Area Chamber of Commerce will host a Legislative Breakfast at the Trussville Civic Center on Tuesday, Nov. 15. Check-in begins at 6:45 a.m.; breakfast will be served at 7 a.m. This event is open to the public.
The program will feature a legislative update from Danny Garrett, Alabama State Representative for District 44. A question-and-answer session will follow as time allows.
A longtime resident of Trussville, Garrett was first elected to the House in 2014 and re-elected in 2018. He appears on the ballot for the Nov. 8 general election, running for his third term. His current term ends on Nov. 9, 2022.
Garrett currently serves as Chair of the Ways and Means Education Committee and as Vice Chair of the House Education Policy Committee. He is also a member of the Fiscal Responsibility Committee, the Jefferson County Legislation Committee, and the Contract Review Legislative Oversight Committee.
