PINSON – Pinson Trade Days, hosted by Patti’s on Main Street Flea Market/Consignment and the businesses of Main Street, will be celebrating its first anniversary this Saturday, Nov. 5, 2022, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Trade Days offers the public a chance to experience Pinson in all its small-town charm with a variety of vendors, music and food. Patti, of Patti’s on Main Street, came up with the idea for Trade Days when she noticed the small businesses along the street struggling, both before and during the 2020 pandemic, and wanted to use her knowledge of the antique dealership business to help the other small business owners on the street.
Patti and her husband, Tom, moved to Pinson from New York in 2000 and it wasn’t long before they opened their flea market and consignment shop on Main Street. The couple have been selling on Main Street for a total of 18 years, the last 14 of which have been in their current building, located at 4281 Main Street, Pinson.
“I’m so happy about this anniversary Trade Days, because we did it,” Patti said. “(We) brought Main Street back to life! I’m really excited about it, that we’ve done it a year, and hoping the next year will be bigger and better!”
