UPDATE: At 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 20, Springville Officers and an investigator from Springville Police located missing 6-year-old Joslyn Marie Campbell and her mother. The child is safe and doing good.
Springville police department wants to thank everyone for their help.
“This is an ongoing investigation,” Springville PD’s Facebook page stated. “The important thing is the child is safe and doing good.”
Campbell’s mother, Jazmyn Campbell, 30, of Odenville, was arrested for kidnapping (to aid accomplish crime minor interfering with child custody). She is being held at the St. Clair County Jail on a bond of $75,000.

SPRINGVILLE — An Emergency Missing Child Alert has been issued for a Springville 6-year-old who was last seen on Sunday, Dec. 18, around 6 a.m.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA), the Springville Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance locating 6-year-old Joslyn Marie Campbell.
Campbell was last seen in the 6000 block of US 11 in the Springville area. She was last seen wearing a Cheetah print onesie. Campbell is 3 foot 7 inches tall and around 45 pounds; she has hazel eyes and brown hair.
Authorities ask anyone who has any information regarding the whereabouts of Joslyn Campbell to call the Springville Police Department at (205) 467-2701.
