BIRMINGHAM — The Birmingham Police Department (BPD) is seeking the public’s help in identifying a robbery suspect.
According to the BPD, on Tuesday, Jan. 10, South Precinct officers were dispatched to Target (4616 Highway 280) on a report of a robbery.
“Officers arrived on the scene when they learned that an adult male had been observed attempting to exit the store through the entrance door that would not open,” Sergeant Monica Law stated.
Law stated that when Loss Prevention personnel addressed him, the male said, “I will shoot you.” The male exited the store with the electric bike.
Authorities ask if there is anyone with information on the identity of the suspect to contact BPD Robbery Detectives at 205-254-1764 or remain anonymous by contacting Crime Stoppers at 205-254-7777.
