TRUSSVILLE — Trussville police are investigating after the break-in of multiple vehicles in the parking lot of a U.S. Highway 11 business.
Lt. Clint Riner said the incident took place around 5 a.m. on Thursday in the parking lot of Orange Theory.
“Force was used to gain entry into each vehicle,” Riner said. “Each victim had a purse with contents taken out of their vehicle. Currently there are no suspects, but investigators are following up on leads.”
According to the police report, three women were working out when an unknown suspect or suspects broke out the windows of their three vehicles. Items stolen included purses and contents, electronics, and a handgun.
