TRUSSVILLE – State Auditor Andrew Sorrell gave a public presentation on his first 100 days at the Trussville Civic Center on Thursday, May 11, at 6 p.m. Prior to his presentation, there was a reception of coffee and snacks beginning at 5:30 p.m. The presentation was hosted by the Trussville Eagle Forum.
After Sorrell’s presentation, the Trussville Eagle Forum updated the public on various other topics, including “The Price Act” (speaker Julia Cleland, Chairman).
Pat Ellis, Vice President of Issues, also gave an update on recent “Health Fairs” held in public schools. The topics included:
- Do you want your children to be asked what pronoun they want for themselves?
- Is it OK for your child’s personal ID to be given to strangers without parental permission?
- Do you want Comprehensive Sex Ed that advances gender confusion & promiscuity to your child?
