PINSON — Pinson Mayor Joe Cochran posted on the “What’s happening in Pinson” Facebook page Saturday, May 27, that the splash pad at Bicentennial Park is currently closed.

“Unfortunately due to technical problems Bicentennial Park Splash Pad is closed until further notice,” Cochran’s post said.
In a follow-up comment, Cochran said that the city is hoping to have the issues fixed and the splash pad re-opened by Tuesday, May 30, but “no guarantees,” he said.
Bicentennial Park is located at 4200 Oak Street, Pinson.
