JEFFERSON COUNTY – The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Central Jefferson County, St. Clair County and Southern Walker County.
The warning will remain in effect until 3:15 p.m.
Radars indicate that this storm can produce gusts of wind up to 60 mph, potentially causing damage to roofs, siding and trees.
Locations impacted include:
Birmingham, Vestavia Hills, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Hueytown, Gardendale, Pell City, Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Fairfield, Rainbow City, Fultondale, Springville, Odenville, Dora, Center Point, Pleasant Grove and Clay.
