IRONDALE — An Irondale family is seeking the assistance of the public in locating their family member who has been missing since July 15, 2023. Irondale Police Lt. Jason Hill said the department is assisting the family.
“The Irondale Police Department is assisting an Irondale family that is trying to locate their son,” Hill said. “Claudia Walker, mother of Darryl A. Smith is seeking help in trying to locate her son. Mrs. Walker reports that her son was last seen in Birmingham around July. Any information regarding the whereabouts of Darryl A. Smith would be greatly appreciated. “
Smith is 5 feet 9 inches tall and he’s 34-years-old. He may be homeless and could also be mentally incapacitated and struggle to make decisions for himself. He was last seen on 3rd Ave. South wearing brown pants. He has tattoos bearing the names Claudia and Kendra.
