ADGER — A man has died after leaving the road and wrecking into multiple trees in Adger on Tuesday, Nov. 29.
At around 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 28, a passerby notified Jefferson County E911 of a single vehicle traffic accident that claimed the life of a man on Groundhog Road, just past Sealy Ann Mountain Road in West Jefferson County near Adger.
The Jefferson County Coroner’s Office later identified the man as Hunter Paul Vance, 20, of Bessemer.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Deputies was dispatched to the location. Upon arrival they found a 2018 Chevy Silverado had left the roadway and struck multiple trees before coming to a rest.
Vance was pronounced deceased at the scene just after midnight Tuesday morning.
The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Traffic Accident Reconstruction Team was called to the scene to conduct the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
