MULGA — 36-year-old man arrested and charged with drug trafficking after search warrant execution by the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office on Monday, Dec. 4.
Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office Vice and Narcotics Division, along with SWAT, executed a search warrant on a residence located in the 1500 block of Pine Street in Mulga.
Jaquan Lamar Mayfield, 36, was charged with Trafficking Fentanyl, Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess Firearms, and Altering a Firearm’s Identification. He was booked into the Bessemer County Jail with bonds totaling $1,030,000.
He was also arrested for existing failure to appear warrants for Robbery 1, Assault 2, Stalking, and Certain Persons Forbidden to Possess Firearm. Those charges carried no bonds.
