TRUSSVILLE- The Hewitt Trussville Softball team (29-6) hosts Spain Park in the Area 6 tournament at 6 PM this evening.
The Lady Huskies defeated Oak Mountain 14-1 Saturday to move into the winner’s bracket.
Corey Goguts and Olivia Faggard had three RBIs and two hits.
Zaylen Tucker, Chaney Peters, and Peyton Hull added two hits apiece.
Sara Phillips gave up two hits, one run and struck out eleven batters.
With a win, Hewitt will face the Chelsea vs Oak Mountain winner for the area title.
