ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala.–A Crossville man died Monday night after he was thrown from his motorcycle in a crash along U.S. 431, according to ALEA Senior Trooper Brandon Bailey.
At approximately 8:50 p.m., Jerry W. Hollingsworth, 49, was fatally injured when his 2005 Honda Shadow motorcycle struck a 2004 Toyota Camry driven by a 16-year-old juvenile.
Hollingsworth was thrown from the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred approximately nine miles north of Attalla.
The ALEA Highway Patrol Division will continue to investigate.
