LEEDS, Ala.–A man captured on video surveillance who detectives were asking the public for assistance in identifying in connection to a suspected retail theft case is now in custody, according to the Leeds Police Department.
“We would like to thank all citizens who have provided us information while reminding the public that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty,” the Leeds Police Department wrote.
According to a report filed with the Leeds Police Department, the theft occurred on Aug. 2 in the 6200 block of Grand River Blvd.
