TRUSSVILLE, Ala–First Baptist Church Trussville is set to host an informational event discussing the effects of dementia on Sunday, Aug. 18
The free event is for anyone wanting to learn more about dementia–whether that be for themselves or for a loved one.
Dr. David Geldmacher, the Director of the Division of Memory Disorders and Behavioral Neurology with UAB, will be the keynote speaker.
At the event, he will discuss memory loss and treatment and answer questions about dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
The discussion will start at the church at 2 p.m.
