TRUSSVILLE, Ala.–The Trussville City Council will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday, Aug. 22 due to the upcoming city-wide special municipal tax election next Tuesday.
The regular meeting will be held immediately following a council workshop, which begins at 5 p.m.
According to the agenda, the council is set to vote on a slew of proclamations that include declaring Trussville Witches Ride and 5K runs put on by the Friends of the Library, Foundations for Hope, and the Alabama Power Service as citywide events.
There will also be a proclamation honoring long-time Hewitt-Trussville High School football coach Jack Wood for his induction into the National High School Athletics Coaches Association Hall of Fame.
The council will also consider a resolution to accept the city’s FY23 audit.
