TRUSSVILLE, Ala.–Jefferson County is planning a temporary road closure along North Chalkville Road that will require commuters to make a significant detour Wednesday morning.
From 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., the road will be completely closed between Woodland Circle and the intersection of Green Drive and Pineview Road.
All traffic traveling toward town will be redirected to Green Drive, Trussville Clay Road, and on to Poplar Street.
The county is asking drivers to plan alternative routes and wrote on Facebook, “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience as we work to improve our roads.”
