TRUSSVILLE — A multi-vehicle crash in Trussville has shut down Interstate 59, according to the Trussville Fire and Rescue Chief Tim Shotts.
The wreck occurred under the Chalkville Road overpass at I-59 exit 141 just after 8 a.m, Shotts said.
Trussville Police Lt. Clint Riner said three cars were involved and that the extent of the injuries is unknown at this time.
The southbound lanes are currently closed and I-59 northbound is partially closed.
