Annie Ruth accepted Christ in her teens and worked tirelessly for Him. She could cook anything and loved cooking for her family and friends. Nothing pleased her more than for a family member to ask for something special. If you came hungry or thirsty to her immaculate house, you sure didn’t leave that way. She could also bake the best cakes around. Those cakes were often given to her family, doctors, church friends, neighbors and numerous others. She was the hostess with the mostest and always shared what she had.
Annie Ruth loved children and was a “child whisperer.” All children seemed to go right to sleep with her rocking and singing “Your Are My Sunshine.” She kept children from the church nursery, to her home, to backup for her daughter’s daycare.
Annie Ruth Copeland Agnew was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend to all.
