BIRMINGHAM, Ala.–Jefferson State Community College is breaking records as it announced this week that its student enrollment for the fall semester is the highest among community colleges in Alabama.
As of Wednesday, the official headcount stands at 9,400 students–the institution’s highest since 2011.
“Our enrollment growth is a testament to the collective commitment to education and opportunity at Jefferson State,” Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management Amanda Harbison said.
“Together, we are creating pathways for every learner to achieve their dreams and enhance our community.”
The last time enrollment exceeded 9,000 students was in the fall of 2018.
