MOODY, Ala.–Three men were arrested in Moody Friday morning on multiple drug charges, including possession of methamphetamine and distribution of a controlled substance, according to Sheriff Billy J. Murray.
The St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Unit made the arrests after serving a narcotics search warrant on Sun Circle in Moody.
Officers recovered suspected methamphetamine, opioids, and hallucinogens that included LSD, ecstasy, and suboxone from the scene.
The SCCSO DEU was assisted by the St. Clair County SWAT Team, Moody Police Department, and the SCCSO Patrol Division.
William Cochran, 44, was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of a controlled substance X4, methamphetamine possession, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held at the St. Clair County Jail in Pell City with a $50,500 bond.
Scott E. Gann, 51, was arrested on charges of unlawful distribution of a controlled substance, methamphetamine possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
He is being held at the St. Clair County Jail with a $30,500 bond.
James S. Hamby, 51, was arrested on charges of possession of drug paraphernalia.
Hamby was booked and released at the St. Clair County Jail on a $500 bond.
