BIRMINGHAM — Police investigators in Birmingham are on the scene of a homicide in the 6800 block of Exeter Avenue, officials reported early Wednesday morning. It is the fourth homicide in the city in the last 48 hours.
Two others have been shot in separate incidents during the same time period, both suffered life-threatening injuries.
Investigators announced the latest homicide just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. Details have not yet been released and it is not known if a suspect or suspects are in custody.
The investigation comes hours after a male and female were found shot to death in a vehicle in the 1300 block of Princeton Avenue SW.
